56' Chance England!
By Simon Smale
Russo has not been good in this game, and she probably could have done better there too.
She's managed to get up high to win a header from a deep free kick on the left, but it was a free header and instead of hitting the target, she's put it well wide.
54' Chance Nigeria!

Another lovely cross from Kanu is played across the six yard box.
England have bodies there to clear, but Nigeria are cutting through England out wide at will.
The chance game after a crossfield ball is intercepted by Nigeria in their final third and they took off with a superb counter attack, switching from back left to forward right.
It's impressive stuff.
47' NIGERIA HIT THE CROSSBAR AGAIN!
By Simon Smale
It was a looping header from Uchenna Kanu that loops gently over Earps' head and onto the top of the bar.
Earps looked like she had it covered but another nervous moment for England after some excellent build up play down the left and then through the centre from Nigeria.

Half time stats

Nigeria have had more shots than England (9-5) but England have had more on target (2-1) according to StatsPerform Data.
England have grown into the game a little bit - but Nigeria are creating plenty and flooding forward in numbers.
It's been a hugely impressive performance from the Super Falcons and their coach Randy Waldrum has got his tactics spot on to deal with England's set up.
Will that precipitate a change of tack from Sarina Wiegman?
Half time: England 0-0 Nigeria
By Simon Smale
It's been a tight and tense tussle in the first half - with Nigeria having by far the better of the chances as they frequently went around England's back three to get balls into the box.
A couple of great saves from Mary Earps and some telling blocks have kept England in it.
Nigeria have not allowed England to settle one bit when they've had possession - charging them down and using their immense physicality to win the ball back.
However, England will have questions of Honduran referee Melissa Borjas after she overruled her original decision to award a penalty.
If nothing else, it's hard not to feel sorry for Ireland if that is not a penalty - because Hayley Raso's decisive incident in the opening game was far softer than that.

41' Chance England

Same as before - this time James had time to set herself before pulling her shot, spinning well wide of the target.
38' Chance England

England win a corner on the left side that is swung in and half cleared by Nigeria.
Lauren James then attempts a hooked ball back in that passes high over the bar.
36' DOUBLE CHANCE NIGERIA!
By Simon Smale
Rasheedat Ajibade, who gave away the penalty that was then not a penalty, twists and turns and gets into the penalty area but her shot hammers against the back of Millie Bright.
The follow up effort is then blocked behind by Jessica Carter, who is absolutely cleaned up in the follow through.
35' NO PENALTY! VAR OVERTURNS IT!
By Simon Smale
Well I can't believe that.
It would have been a soft penalty, but it was still a penalty. There was clear contact from behind in the penalty area.
England can't believe it - the Nigerians feel vindicated and the crowd are a bit of a mix between the two.
31' PENALTY ENGLAND!
By Simon Smale
It's not amazing defending to be honest.
Rasheedat Ajibade it was, barging into Rachel Daly.
VAR is going to have a look at this, but it was very similar to Hayley Raso's penalty against Ireland earlier in the tournament - but with much more contact.
VAR confirms penalty - or does it? Our referee is going over to the monitor.
If Hayley Raso's one was a penalty, this is too.
30' Free kick England
By Simon Smale
Halimatu Ayinde is lucky to avoid a booking there.
She pushes Lauren James over and then wags her finger in the face of the referee.
Not too smart that.
28' CHANCE ENGLAND!
By Simon Smale
Another decent save from Nigerian keeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, palming Rachel Daly's effort from seven yards out away from danger.
The shot was right at her in fairness, but it needed saving.
27' Chance England
By Simon Smale
James has been handed some rough treatment in this first half, but she managed to get on the end of a whipped cross from the left on that occasion, her effort from slightly behind her flying well over but the referee says there was a Nigeria boot so a corner for England.
23' Chance England!
By Simon Smale
Superb save from Chiamaka Nnadozie!
It was a poor clearance from centre back Oluwatosin Demehin, but Alessia Russo could not get the ball far enough wide of the sprawling keeper with a first-time shot from outside the penalty area, Nnadozie making a decent save down to her left.
When England have the ball they are able to move it nicely.
It's deliberate set up play though, a touch slow and the physicality of the Nigerian team - coupled with their eagerness to win it back is making sustained spells of possession tough.
There is not much space for England in the final third - England's accuracy of passing in that final third is just 50 per cent from 22 attempts.
17' DOUBLE SAVE ENGLAND!
By Simon Smale
Oh my word! England-born left back Ashleigh Plumptre just hammered a shot onto the crossbar!
Earps may have got a touch, but she certainly got a touch to the next one from Plumptre again, palming the ball away from danger with two strong hands.
Uchenna Kanu also had a shot in the scramble that was blocked.
Wow, a huge double chance for Nigeria and that has really woken the crowd up!
A huge let off for England.
14' Chance Nigeria!
By Simon Smale
Now it's Ifeoma Onumonu getting down the left side, her cross too is slightly overhit and the chance goes begging.
Nigeria are looking to open England's three-player defence up by playing wide down the flanks and, at the moment, they are being given free reign to do so.
It's the risk of playing three at the back against such dangerous opposition.
It's showing real tactical acuity from Randy Waldrum.
13' Chance Nigeria
By Simon Smale
Another corner for the Nigerians as Uchenna Kanu gets played in on the left and sees her cross deflected behind.
From the corner, Nigeria right back Michelle Alozie powered a header towards goal whcih was blocked.
